First, we actually try the products we recommend—we do blind taste tests with our panel of coffee enthusiasts. Why blind? That way we aren’t influenced by brands or fancy packaging.

Second, we pay for all the products we test with our own money. We don’t take free samples from the brands we review.

Finally, we should note that we are reader-supported. We make a living from sales of our print books and affiliate commissions. What is that? When you read a review that is on our site, there will be an affiliated link to purchase the product. These links go to trusted online retailers.
